I think you have done a nice job there buddy. I too own the plastic rubies glove and its pretty awful, you cant get much movement out of it. So it seems like a good idea to attempt to make a metal/copper glove with plastic blades to go out with to a fancy dress party or something. Hopefully this way you should get the right sounds from moving the glove but with the added safety aspect of plastic blades.
