Kitchen knives are safe in a drawer, not hanging from a hand or sticking straight up on a display, which makes it even more riskier and prone to accidents. Sharp or not, it is a movie and no one is actually getting slashed. It may be "cool" to have one but the risks outweigh the rewards.
